This book is perhaps my all-time favourite so far. It's the only book I've read where I was genuinely sad when I started nearing the end, and I began to read only a few pages a day to make it last as long as possible. Exquisitely written, complex ars, well-fleshed out characters.. it is magnificent. One of the longest novels ever written in the English language, it demands a lot of time, but is completely worth it in my opinion.
